This is for documentation purposes and gives us all the pertinent information to make sure that your move goes perfectly. Having this information in writing secures your moving date as well as provides all necessary information about our rates and services.
Due to the vast number of variables on moves (walk time, stairs, elevators, etc), we are unable to give an exact quote for small to large moves. With our delivery service, we are able to supply an exact quote due to the elimination of many of these variables.
Most moving companies charge extra for the truck, gas, insurance, taxes, and supplies on top of their standard labor rate. We, on the other hand, believe in making things simple, so we put everything in and won’t have to worry about any hidden charges.
It is best to book the move as far in advance as you are able. With deliveries and smaller moves, we are able to accommodate same-day moves on a day-to-day basis. In most cases, it is best to book your move a week in advance.
We use European wrapping and packing service techniques for heavy belongings and stuff that is fragile inside it, to ensure your furniture arrives safe in your condo or townhouse just as you remembered it at your previous residence. All furniture items are blanketed and shrink-wrapped for maximum protection.
We do require a deposit when booking your move.
We currently accept cash or all major credit cards.
We do not move large commercial-grade appliances.
We are licensed and insured in the state of California.
Every mover at Man With a Truck Moving brings dollies, shrink wrap, tools, couch covers, mattress bags, and moving blankets for every job.
Any furniture that we disassemble on a move, we will reassemble at the new location. In some instances, we are able to put items that were previously disassembled together, but this is on an item-by-item basis.
